Cleaner Required for 14 hours per week – Immediate Start2021-09-08T15:49:54+00:00

Reporting to the Finance Manager the cleaner will undertake a range of functions to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the MooreHaven Centre.  The person filling this role will be  responsible for a very high level of cleanliness, light maintenance and general housekeeping duties.  This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

14 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 2.5 hours a day Friday 4 hours (after office hours)

Qualifications

  • Leaving certificate.
    • A full clean Irish / EU Driving Licence is desirable.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 6 months working in a similar role.
  • A commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those with an intellectual disability is an essential attribute.
  • Excellent people skills, flexibility and experience in a complex changing work environment.

We are currently recruiting Support Workers for a Relief Panel in our Residential Services

The purpose of the role is to support our residents as needed with all aspects of daily living skills.  The days consist of learning, leisure and recreational pursuits combined with community involvement.  Community integration is promoted as far as is reasonably practicable for each individual.  The role includes working days, evenings, weekends and night work.

Qualifications & Experience

  • QQI Level 5 Health Care Qualification.
  • 6 months experience in a similar role working with adults with an intellectual disability.
  • A good level of administrative skills.
  • A good level of IT skills.
  • A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence

A strong commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those with an intellectual disability are essential attributes for this role.  The successful candidate will need great people skills, be flexible and have experience with rapid and complex changing work environments.

We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers for the Relief Panel in our Residential Services.

The Social Care Workers will support residents to become as independent as possible in daily life-skills, working on individual programmes for each resident with a multi-disciplinary approach.  They will promote a positive and respectful awareness of learning disabilities in the community.  The person appointed to the post should be flexible in their approach to service provision & should have the ability to work as a member of a team.   He/she will be required to take an active part in ensuring that the day to day operations of the home reflect the Vision and Mission Statement of the MooreHaven Centre and that the needs of the residents are being met.

  • Level 7 Social Care Qualification.
